The natural grey alpaca adds a glorious undertone to the yarn on which colours appear complex when over dyed. The yarn takes the dye well, although colours will appear more muted than normal, and quite rich on this base. This yarn does not speckle very well as the speckles spread.
The fabric is light and drapey and feels silky soft in the handle. A wonderful yarn for accessories that can be worn against the skin, and stunning sweaters and cardigans.
